Our schools have a proud history and a legacy of very capable Black Belt students. Since 1986, when the first UKI school opened in Utah, hundreds of students have fulfilled the exacting standards required of a Shin-Toshi karate Black Belt.

Our Yearly Achievment Awards:

Many Shin-Toshi Karate students excel and receive awards based upon their efforts.
Our 'Instructor of the Year' and 'Student of the Year' awards are particularly difficult to obtain.
These awards are presented based upon superb effort and exemplary performance throughout an entire year.
We would also like to recognize the students who received their promotions in the most recent Shin-Toshi Karate black belt test.
